HisChild
If you are truly hearing voices, my friend, I would call 911, and let them take you to a hospital. Are you taking any medications? Be sure you have that list with you when they get to your home, if you are. I will pray for you. God bless you.
Cathurian
Dude, it's demons. I didn't think it was demons. I assumed it was my own mind. But one person IMed me, and prayed divine mercy chaplet with me, and guess what happened? This person got spiritually attacked. I said, lemme guess, it feels like you're being stabbed to death or it's sticking its fist in your chest? They said, yep, and that they don't feel like this commonly. Then I knew. Cause that's how it always did me, and now it's doing my friend the same way. Then, that person asked THEIR friend to pray for me. The thing started attacking their friend as well. And its attacking me right now, too. Mocking God, blaspheming, and so on. IT physically hurt me. I screamed. I assumed I was making it up until it started messing with my friends. TWO of them, and yes I'm certain that's what's it is, and furthermore, this particular one has a history of messing with my friends if they try to help me pray it off. Good grief. This is obnoxious. And no, for once I am not being paranoid. I wouldn't say demons were attacking my friends and I on the boad, publicly, unless I were absolutely dead certain without a doubt. Prayers much appreciated. Myles Domini
Put holy water on yourself and invoke the assistance of St Michael the Archangel by using Leo XIII's prayer to him. If it persists examine your conscience as completely as possible go to confession and recieve the Eucharist tommorow and pray the Rosary for the protection of Our Lady help of Christians.
I know it is easier said than done, but remember that the power it has is only as much as you will give it. If you are truly being attacked remember Jesus, say His name, and put your confidence in Him. Invoke the assistance of your guardian angel, and pray the Rosary. Again, if you are truly being attacked, you are allowing it an "entrance," and, to me, it sounds as though that is fear. I know it is hard, but put your undying confidence in God alone. A demons power is not stronger than God's. Remember that. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us this day in battle be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan and all other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Theologian in Training
I would really like to see a St. Michael picture where St. Michael does not look feminine. I don't know why it is so hard to find, but there are only two or three I have seen in my life, where he looked like a warrior.
Cathurian
Yeah...I'm scared of God. I hate that I am. I try so hard not to be. It tears me up that I am. But I panic in His presence anyway. It hurts me so much that I can't trust and get close to Him, over stupid fear. It makes me hate myself. And the demon is still talking to me and mocking me about this.
Cathurian
You're right about it being fear, though. I know it's so easy to love Love Himself, and to trust Him, so I get really upset when I fail at this... and I start to worry that it's just my own despair eating me up and God will abandon me to my own personal little hell, because I won't stop worriying.
God cannot abandon you. Partly because being outside of time he has nowhere else to go Seriously though there's no need to be afraid of God even when your soul is full of sin God still loves you. Think of it this way God is unlimited even beyond our concept of unlimitedness, He needs absolutely nothing least of us all. Such a being is absolutely complete beyond and definition of completeness and yet He creates? It seems a contradiction in terms, He doesn't need to and yet He does? Why...? The answer, of course, is because God wishes to share His very nature with you (2 peter 1:4) not because He has to or is compelled to but because He is kind enough to wish to allow us access to His infinite love. He made us out of benevolence so that we might experience what it is like to see God as He is. In short He has loved you into existence and loves you still now. If He didnt you would cease to exist in any plane of reality even if you go to the depths of Hell as the Psalmist says God must be there or else there would cease to be. He creates and sustains us, He reedems and santifies us. When we incurred an infinite penalty against His absolute justice God did not abndon us knowing our finiteness couldnt appease Him but He came and took on our nature so as to make amends on our behalf. He breached and infinite gap, He bent the heavens, solely because He loves you and do you imagine that He loves you any less now? Nothing you can do could possibly make God stop loving you that is the lesson of the Cross, the lesson of the Church. Look at the way God speaks of her, His bride (rev 19), He declares Himself husband (Isa 54) and yet when she prostitutes herself in sin does He turn His face from her? Does he remember her sins? Imagine your most beloved spouse running around blatantly carrying on illicit affairs before your very eyes how would you react? Walking into your own home and seeing your loved one in the very act of unchastity how would it hurt you? Now look to God who sees all, who knows all, whose will your every breath depends upon. Though your sins are inumerable in His eyes does He react with indignance to your pleas for forgiveness? Does He hold a grudge in His heart or find it difficult to let go of the past? "Your sins I will remember no more" The contrast could not be more striking. God loves you with a love which words cannot describe therefore do not fear Him no matter how far you fall because for Him it is a means of showing how deeply He loves you to pick you up and dust you off time after time and He will never tire of it. Every hair of your head has been counted my friend so heed his call:
‘Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.--Mt 11:28
To the sacred heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. What is there to fear from He who gives sight to the blind? Edited February 25, 2006 by Myles
annabelle87
remember the Lord's words of encouragment to our dear Padre Pio: "I am reserving another crown more beautiful if you know how to struggle against the one with whom you have just fought (satan). He will always return, always on the attack...Fight him valiantly and never doubt My assistance...Do not be frightened by his molestation and do not be afraid of his formidable appearance...I shall always be at your side, I shall always help you, so that you will always be victorious" God bless you Ashley. prayers
