jasJis
All these frozen yankees. You know what's cool about no snow. Going swimming in November, even if your pool isn't heated. Going to an NFL game with your jersey. Not having to spend $150 for a team jacket, the jersey is fine. Wearing sandals all year like Jesus did. (It does get a little cold but I know 2 priests who do that). Not having a state income tax because of all the snow birds who spend their money here all winter. Azriel
Hold out your right hand as if it were a map of Michigan. I would live at right bottom of the thumb. Right on the Saint Clair River next to Canada. Michigan rocks. All of us Michganders learned a long time ago that your right hand could function as a Map. So, to figure out where I am, hold up your right hand, I'm about in the middle of the crease where your thumb meets your palm. Hey J - I believe at least half of the population of Michigan over 65 goes to Florida for the Winter. LOL Oh, and snow rocks too. Except driving to work this morning. Yuck. Lounge Daddy
OK, hold up the right hand... now look at the opposite side of the hand from the Arsonist. Yup, I am living in the Republican side of the state. But it brings me hope knowing there are good Catholics on the "Detroit Side" of Michigan. God Bless you, S. Arsonist. Carrie
I'm from NYC. I think snow stinks. Slows down the already conjested traffic and gets gray and dirty after one day. Things are slippery and not everyone shovels, making things dangerous. Down with snow!!

GodsGrace
let me tell ya, my mom lived in NY for 17 years, and all she talks about it how she remembers the snow being so high one year, they took a sleigh and slid off the roof of their tool shed , and had fights on the roof of it and all this stuff, and the skiing and the ice skating, the REAL ice skating! lol ahh, Living in Florida stinks..... Oh yea, JasJis, ya know what my mom says ( don't know if she's told you this before) but she thinks I'm the only one who wears sandals during winter (ok open toed shoes) then she saw Jess on Monday with flip flops on and me in short sleeves and no shoes. it was hilarious! I've only seen snow 3 times. once when I was 4, 14 and 18. I was on band trips when I was 14 and 18, and when I was 4, well I don't remember, but my parents told me I did. and I've got pics! YAY SNOW!

frozencell
We are not like the crazies in Ohio. I happen to be from Ohio and would like to correct you on your error. it is the general concensus that Michiganians are actually the crazies, they just don't know it! Now you know. Please tell all you know! :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Now you know. Please tell all you know! :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: One - we are not Michiganians. We are Michganders. Two - It is clear that Ohio is the crazy place, what with the toll boothes and all. Three - Any good Michigander will tell you that we either root for Michigan or Michigan state, and of course whoever is playing Ohio.
