Is it a sin to try to engage in lucid dreaming?

If you do werido occult things, or put faith into your dreams... I'd say yes.

But if you just want to control your nightmares and fight back... I hope not.

Don't do it. You'll go straight to hell if you do. And by straight to hell I mean you won't wake up and will be haunted by visions worse than your worst nightmares for all eternity.

Have a nice day :)

i did a report for that on school and the CC said if you try to conrtol your imagination it is a sin. But i talked to a priest about it and he said it is not a sin if you do not do take part of sinfull activites during the lucid state. So only if you do bad stuff it is a sin. So flying is OK :)

Lucid dreaming is cool. I barely ever do, but when it happens I get excited. Watch Waking Life if you want to see a really cool movie about dreams.

haha, what if you think you realize you are dreaming, but it turns out someone slipped drugs into your sleep and you're just hullucinating... then you'll get yourself killed!
