Has anyone else struggled with this? I wish I knew some trick on how to keep the 2 year old asleep. I can handle one crying, but 2 crying at 2 in the morning is a lot. Not to mention I feel SUPER bad for Chad b/c he has to work in the morning and get up at 6, so he must be worn down to almost nothing!!

My sister has a herbal drink for her kids that she swears by...of course, the recipe was thought up by some little Russian bubba somewhere, so it calls for a wee droppy of vodka!

I would try letting your 2 year old hold your hand whil she tries to go to sleep. It'll make her feel safe, and comforted...so she might go to sleep faster if she wakes up. If you 4 month old starts crying take her to the living room. And you could even try using your's (or you hubby's) old shirt (that you used that day) and put it near her.
My dad use to do that when we were young...we always thought he was there...when it was just his dirty socks or shirt!

Hopes this helps.
prayers for you prose. :)

Well, the 2 year old goes to sleep, and will actually stay asleep fine, if the baby wasn't crying....

As for the 4 month old, I actually was rocking her walking around for 4 hours tonight.

I am so tired.
