help me please

Its still showing up small here but I can see the words better on my desktip now. Its wierd, the words dont look like they did before this. They look more like typewriter typed words (does that make any sense?) whereas before the letters seemed to be...well...fatter?
Anyway, the words here at PM are still tiny.

Go to the view button on your browser and adjust it accordingly. If you have Internet Explorer then you can adjust between largest, larger, medium, smaller, and smallest. The text may be on smallest. In Firefox your choice is to hit Ctrl++ to increase the font to the desired size.

You know the more you describe this problem, it sounds like a virus of some kind. Did you scan your computer now that you can see it?

Ok, I'll have to get back to you, since all I have at home is a Mac (Yay!) and I'd prefer to give detailed directions, if I could.

For more info: is the tiny text in ALL applications or just in your web browser (Internet Explorer, firefox, etc.)? Do you have a crt (like a regular tv, about as deep as wide) or lcd (flat panel, 1-5 inches deep)?

Fixed my puter.
Everything is fine.
If it was a virus then it was a strange one. since I was still able to do everything except that initially my desktop was showing only odd characters.
I ended up going in and changing my language settings. that was a real leap of faith considering I wasnt sure if it would work since it was like reading chinese. My only consolation was that when a window would pop up it would ask in english, "are you sure you want to do that?"
Today, after adjusting the font so that I could actually read it, I went in and restored to a previous date and POP! Everything was perfect after that.

I feel better.
For the record, with two firewalls, two security centers, two virus checkers and so forth...I really dont think it was a virus. I have broadband and I am so critical of I think it was something I did when I downloaded an update for one of the security patches. I remember a download for a different language(dont remember the language) pak and figured I was supposed to download it.
I am sure that was the problem.
Anyway, I scanned with all I have and Im clean.


I am so happy.
