luciana
I've gone to events (bible stuides, concerts, but not services)at a non-denom church my sister attends, but I'm strong in my Faith, and she knows it. I have to get her to go to Catholic events and mass besides weddings, and stuff, like that. I think it's ok, if youwill not be confused, will not miss Mass, and don't give them the wrong idea. lifescanticle
Yes I believe that it is ok to visit occasionally. Always remembering that the Church contains the fullness of truth and therefore any issues that arise that conflict with the Church must be suspect. Participation in other faiths communion service should be avoided as participating in their communion would imply that you are in communion with that failth. toledo_jesus
you can visit after you've gone to Mass, but you cannot actively participate. Like, if they pass around 'communion' then don't take any. You can sing though. The Protestants usually have better music.

prose
Only if you are wearing a "Catholic Ninja" shirt... You can buy them at the PhatMass store.

Well, I don't go to services of other faiths to get spiritually fed. That would be problematic, because I never would be fed with the spiritual food i was craving. But that doesn't mean other religions have nothing to offer. You can still learn something by going to a service from another religion and it helps you to communicate your own faith with different kinds of people. I used to go to protestant services + Jewish shabbat dinners and prayer meetings semi-regularly. Through this I developed friendships with people of different religions and they would often take me up on invitations to our Catholic activities + masses on campus. I might not even have a chance to get to know these people if I never stepped onto their turf. Unfortunately, it can be quite frustrating when you put yourself out there...going to another religions' services, singing their songs and listening to their flawed teachings.... and then your friend refuses to even set foot near a Catholic Mass. But at least the seeds are being planted.
