thessalonian
I just found this out. There was a noon Mass today for marriage. Archbishop Flynn has been vocal in supporting a defense of marriage amendment here in Minnesota. Well it seems the rainbow sashers are up to their tricks again. I'll post tommorrow about what happened. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is now official. The entire Twin Cities media has been invited to the World Marriage Day Mass GLBT protest and disruption of Archbishop Flynn and they ALL are planning to attend. WCCO, KSTP, FOX9, KARE11, Star Tribune and the Pioneer Press are planning full coverage of the Gay Catholic Community protests and planned disruptions of Archbishop Flynn's Mass.... It might be hard getting into the Cathedral of Saint Paul given the fact that Gay activists will have all the entances to the Cathedral covered with GLBT activists handing out homosexual promotional materials at EVERY entrance. We need to offer up sacrifices for Archbishop Flynn, the Chancery staff and the priests and staff of the Cathedral. Any penance, fasting, sacrifice or any devotion you can offer to them will be greatly welcomed. The Archbishop and the Chancery staff are getting fiercely attacked and much more is planned.. Our hearts go out to them. People are still planning to also offer up a rosary at the Cathedral for the safety and spiritual protection of Archbishop Flynn, the Chancery and the priests and staff of the Cathedral of Saint Paul at 11:40 am this Sunday. photosynthesis
hmm... methinks that it's time for the rainbow sashers to find a new church. I hate it when people protest at Mass... have they no respect for the sacred?

Or should I say it is exactly because it is the sacred that the Catholic Mass is the most protested. Satan knows what is going on at Mass. More than we do I suspect. Expect more of this sort of thing in the future rather than less. Edited February 12, 2006 by thessalonian
Paladin D
Can the church hire security during the event?

jezic
this is sad and yet it goes to show where the battle lines are (if you know what i mean.) If these were truly Catholic then they would understand. I wonder why they still try to "be" Catholic though. They are missing the boat here. God Conquers
Well if they don't respect the sacredness of sex than why should they respect the sacredness of the Mass?
Brother Adam
I don't understand how they can block entrances, is this not tresspassing? Shouldn't they be required to stay on public property?
Myles Domini
Anyone sasher who persistently refused to let me go to Mass would get laid out on the floor South London style.

South London Style=a regional variant of London youth culture which minus the distinctive tint given to it by its geographical provenance remains generally consistent with the UK Grime based youth culture of the British Capital epitomised by artists such as Dizzee Rascal pictured below: PS) In this case Hsmom you're right South London Style barrier breaking would be less than good, at least for the people forming the barrier :

jezic
what is strange is that if Catholics tried to block entrances of something like abortion clinics they would probably be thrown in jail. Kind of shows the double standard of society.
