I had a dream...

most of my bad dreams involve things I've seen in the movies. zombies, drowning, being bitten in half by Jaws. Additionally, I only count them as nightmares if I lose. If I win against the 'forces of darkness' then I would say that's a good dream. So all you people talking about winning against these demons, those are good dreams.

It's the ones where you are slowly eaten alive by zombie demon hounds that smell of elderberries.

I die in my dreams all the time... that whole "if you hit the ground you die..." is total bull.

Maybe it's just me... does anyone else physically feel in their dreams?

toledo, I agree. I remember when I was little, and I had a nightmare. My mother told me to go back and fight my way out. It really is the best advice.

[color=blue] yeah. mostly that funny feeling you get when you go on a rollicoster? and a bunch of feelings that I would have if I was in the situation (I can even think in my dreams  )

LOL, I was just thinking the same thing as I'm also trying to fall asleep!

I had a dream the other night. I somehow ended up driving JPII around. My husband asked me what we talked about when I told him about the dream. Ironically I think there was very little (if any) talking in the dream, I think I was too in awe and was just watching him interact with others. There weren't throngs of people though, it was just a few folks who were expecting him to be in the places we were, almost like a guest speaker kinda experience. At the end of my dream we ended up at a Polish resturant and someone cleared my Perogies before I had finished them. I complained and I remember that he thought that was funny and that I should definitely have more perogies! LOL, truly a papa like act! Of course since everyone thought I was the pope's right hand woman I got more perogies immediately!

Anyhow, I wanted to tell him something and then somehow he ended up leaving with someone else. I was disappointed that I hadn't gotten to tell him, but then realized how lucky I was to be with him that whole time, even just driving him around (in the dream we were driving a little old car). It was uber bizarre, but in a good way. Go figure.

When I was little I used to dream about a dinosaur chasing me around the house we lived in in Greece.

When we lived in Maine I thought that there was something/one? in the mirror at the end of the hall and if I didn't curtsey when I came up the stairs it would get me.  Yes, I was a weird child apparently. :topsy: Not that that will shock anyone here! ;)

Last night I dreampt about people being eaten by weird monsters and the like. Guts and all. Very strange, esp since I don't like scary movies! :sadder:

Ash Wednesday

I agree with Norseman's comment about dreams possibly stemming from things going on in waking times that are bothering us. Usually I dream a lot about things that bother me -- and even though they are kind of twisted, they aren't telling me things I don't already know. For example, a lot of my craziest dreams have come from dating and relationship issues. Several were after I broke up with someone, and in these dreams he kept following me around and was spying on me, and I kept telling him to go away.

I did have a dream about hell and experienced mild hallucination upon waking up -- seeing the face of the devil -- but I was also severely clinically depressed at the time.

I had a dream once that I could not determine between the dream and reality, because I was dreaming that I was sleeping in real time in my bed. When I turned around the most horible looking monster was next me, I understood it to be a demon. It looked across from an alien from Independance day and a skeleton. It didnt speak, I just screamed, I guess I actually screamed in my bed.... Maybe it wasnt even a dream? Talk about scary!!!!!!!! I woke up and prayed the Rosary all night.
