missionseeker
Prayers for Theologian in Training in the few months before he is ordained a preist. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour death. Amen O MARY, conceived without sin, prayer for us who have recourse to thee. HOLY MARY, pray for us! IMMACULATE HEART of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. SWEET HEART of Mary, be my salvation! OUR LADY, Queen of Peace, pray for us! Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. ( I like this one) August Queen of Heaven! Sovereign Mistress of the angels! Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the power and mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech thee to send thy holy Legions, that, under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks and drive them hence into the abyss of eternal woe. Amen. St. Charles Borromeo, patron of Seminarians, pray for him.

Theologian in Training
May 27, 2006 at 10:30 AM The rest of the information is forthcoming. Technically, I cannot invite anyone until the seminary evaluates me one last time and formally recommends me for ordination. That will happen on February 14, 2006, so please remember me in your prayers on that day. God Bless
philothea
Aww. So the Church is going to be your valentine? He's already got my prayers, of course! A while back I was looking at a site where people sign up to pray for priests, and I thought, "Sorry, I've got one already..." :

I applaud missionseeker's efforts in making this a prayer thread and would ask that it remain as one. I am an avid believer in the beauty and the power of prayer, and sometimes will actually know when someone is praying for me, because I will feel that power. Our strongest testament to the communion of the saints is our ability to call upon those in Heaven to pray for another person, so I ask you to please remember me in your prayers.
