Catholic

A good sense of humor

truthfulness

AMEN CMOM!!!!!!!!!! :D

One of my best friends and I talk about this a lot, and we always say that first, he should be Catholic, and second, he has to be able to make me laugh.

An added bonus would be if he could sing or play the piano or guitar. ;)

I guess I would look for...

-the capacity to love

-a sincere faith in Jesus Christ (if he can't trust in Him, how could he ever trust me?)

-a sense of humor

-good communication skills, or at least a desire to have good communication skills...I want someone I can talk to openly...a friend for life.

-a deep respect for human life, and a desire to live chastely

above all, I am looking for a man who puts God first in everything he does, because I would want a marriage that has the same characteristics.

Wow there are so many things I look for. Well I'm sure I'll leave some out but here goes for now.

Intelligence

Honesty

Sincerity

goal-oriented

They have to believe in me and I have to believe in them

Generosity

Passion

Gentleness

Kindness

They have to like kids (I have a big extended family. On my moms side I"m one of 11 grandkids so far. All of them but one are younger, so its important they like kids b/c most of my family is still kids and someday I want to have a few myself.)

Sense of humor

Patience (sometimes I can be a butt or just a plain moron so patience is required)

Spirit

I know thats a lot of things to want. I guess if I had to simplify it I would say I want someone that can make me laugh and smile. I want someone to hold me and hug me when things are bad and tell me it will be okay. I want someone that believes in me and supports the choices I make. I want someone that will love me for me, all the bad along with all the good.

OH how fun it is to dream....

Hey Circle, I assume that the passion for Christ can be shared with passion for you and for your children right?

I mean, really, I want someone who can love Christ through me . . . I don't want someone who has to put me aside in order to love Christ.

How does that work BLAZEr?

When I first read it it souned weird to me but when I think about it I think I get it. Is it kind of like how Mother Teresa loves Christ in the poor? She truly loves the individual she's serving as a brother or sister but that love is rooted in her love for Christ so she also loves and serves Christ through that person. Is that what you mean?

Thx.

What do I desire.. hmm... A woman that loves God more than anything and who's love for me is rooted in her love for God. Also a profound love and devotion for Our Lady.

Other Things (some are superficial and silly):

Intelligence

Similar interests

Beautiful hair

Modesty

Joy

Gentleness

Great love of children

Doesn't mind "roughing it"

Deep love of prayer

Compassion

Love of Theology and Spirituality

Good cook

Total trust in God and His Providence

A playful, silly streak

*Sigh*, I feel like composing some old Irish love poetry thinkin 'bout this stuff.
