DesiringMore
I understand that uncertainty that you are feeling DM. It's hard to know what compliments you and what doesn't. At least I have no idea what kind of traits compliment me best. I know a few that certainly don't compliment, but only from the experience of trying it out to see. I have yet to approach the whole dating scene in what I think is the most appropriate way. I find that dating in our society is very difficult, especially for those of us who want to be good christians. Currently I keep to forming relationships, friendships, with people who intrigue me and see what happens in God's time. I have the faith that if God calls me to the married life then he will present to me a man to marry. I just don't know how that will happen, and how that will play out. But I have faith that it will happen if God wills it. It's hard a lot of times to give it up to God and let things happen according to his plan for my life, but that's what I try to do. I would second everything that you've just said!!...i have never dated anyone in my entire life..well, my last boyfriend was in the 8th grade...but does that really count??.......i thought i had found someone that i would consider marrying--b/c i would never date anyone i couldn't see marrying at some point in my life--but the more i thought he did, the more he seemed to not think i was the one for him...?? In God's time!! that's for sure!! heck, did i think a month ago i would be at PHATMASS, totally addicted...not so much...yet in God's perfect plan i was brought here :D
IcePrincessKRS
If I could think straight I would answer this question, but I've been protecting servers all day from vicious hackers. They should have curly hair and tan skin and er... you probably meant traits. They should BE CRAZY. Like me. Man... I seriously can't form a coherent thought. OH MY WORD!!!!!!!!!! I did NOT write that! lol Our internet connection was down for the past day and a half and Matt had to take my laptop over to his brother-in-law's shop to work (Nelson woodcraft, see catholicposters.com ). Matt must have been looking at my favorites list.... I wonder what else he posted today. I JUST saw this. I can't believe he posted that.

Matty_boy
I desire a beer...it never fails ....but where in th world does that come into play when looking for a marriage mate??? Having a beer while discerning vocations is like stopping and smelling the flowers on a scenic rest stop. It doesn't make the trip any faster, but it's a nice break from the tediousness of the trip. Unbreakable
Physical: feminine, curvy, and healthy. Mentality: Playful, smart, caring, affectionate, willing, and understanding. I don't know, I guess the things I'd like in another person are simple things, but hard to find. I'd like someone who will dress up for me or wear a dress on sundays. Someone who can jump on me while I'm watching tv and wrestle me to the ground in a playful manner. Someone who appreciates me and wants to full fill my desires. Someone who is a affectionate. This is a big deal for me. If she can't hug or kiss me for no reason, then we won't last.

Spiritual_Arsonist
Hmmm. Good thread. The kind of lady I would not mind being being with is one that has long hair, a nice proportionate body, and that is smart. I would want a lady that has a sense of sarcastic humor, so we can joke and make fun of each other. I would want a lady that is not afraid to wrestle or joke around. One that can understand me and just hold my hand forever. I would want to give myself to that person, and I would want her to give herself to me. One that can touch and feel me anytime for hardly any reason.
DesiringMore
The more i grow each day and learn new things not only about myself, God, and others, but about what i look for in my future husband, the more i realize that what i once thought i desired, has changed and the desire continues to deepen yet in ways change because of my growth.....I can only imagine when i find the one who not only I desire but who desires me as well!!!! Someone i feel good enough for!! Am i worthy of such a person....hmmm....
Ash Wednesday
I desire a lot of the things many look for in a spouse -- shares my faith, is my best friend and partner in life, i.e. we work together well as a team, would be a good father, etc.... But what I also especially ask for, as it is the only thing most in my own control, is that God may help ME to be a good spouse.
