Batman: Hero or Superhero?

I maintain that Batman cannot rightly be considered a "Superhero."

A Hero, yes -- he definitely does heroic things. But he has no superpowers, and thus cannot be considered a superhero. He's just a regular dude with a fascination for bats and a bunch of fancy gadgets.

Batman's dedication to his crime-fighting has led him to be in peak physical and mental condition. His fighting abilities are unmatched. He has a butler. He is far more than an average hero.

He is a superhero.
