I do get tired of people "sainting" him. I didn't know that King was in a tight alliance with Planned Parenthood and Sanger. That is a disappointment. It is tacky to politicize a funeral. Can you imagine if Reagan's funeral had any pro-Republican elements in it? The left would be crapping bricks. toledo_jesus
Martin Luther King's contribution to civil rights was important, but tempered by his alliance with PP and his personal foibles. He definitely should not be hanging in our Churches. Coretta probably held the same views as Martin. Though, you have to give her credit for not divorcing him when she found out about his adulteries (plural). And Ash Wednesday! You said crapping! I didn't know we could get that out on the boards! sweeeet. Did anybody watch the Catholic priest get all fired up? Even he took a dig at the war. It was subtle but there. Quietfire
Did anyone read and catch this :
Mrs. Sanger's fight over the last half-century for the emancipation of women from the burdens of perpetual child-bearing
um, who else but women can bear children? and I guess since M.Sanger considers child bearing to be a burden, I hope she honestly apologized to her own mother.
