Should marijuana fall within the grouping of "drugs", which are immoral to partake of, within the CC?

Alcohol can be drunk in moderation, therefore avoiding the prohibition on drunkedness. If the same can be said of marijuana then I would submit that it is not sinful. I don't think, however, that it is possible to smoke/eat marijuana and not become 'drunk'.

The laws of morality do not differ inside and outside the Catholic Church.

I believe no drug is sinful to use it is used in moderation. Smoking marajuna is not sinful in itself just like drinking is not sinful in itself.

CCC #2291: The use of drugs inflicts very grave damage on human health and life. Their use, except on strictly therapeutic grounds, is a grave offense. Clandestine production of and trafficking in drugs are scandalous practices. They constitute direct co-operation in evil, since they encourage people to practices gravely contrary to the moral law.

grave offense = mortal sin
