sure, smart pipe smoking. What, so you only get cancer of the mouth, way to go. Tobacco s a noxious weed....and a carcinogen. To think otherwise is merely deluding yourself.i
Buy the pipe and stick it up on a display shelf. Dont smoke the nasty thing. And as a women, take it from me, no women/girl/lovely lady wants a guy who smells like a musty tobacco can.
A cigar is visually impressive: with its large size and great billows of smoke, it often leaves a greater impact on the spectator than on the smoker. Further, a cigar is phallic-not with regard to male lust, but to male power. "Testis" in Latin means "witness": the phallic status of the cigar is meant to bear public witness to the smoker's prominence, his virility. The fact that a cigar is not inhaled reflects this external focus.

That's what beards are for. Get hip to the jive, my man.

I'm wondering how appropriate it'd be to talk about the etymology of "testis" as meaning "witness".

Anyways, here's an old picture of me with my tavern pipe:

True, but corrolation indicates a relationship between the two variables. This relationship may remain undefined, but by corrolation (empirical in this case) it does exist.

To claim that smoking a pipe is healthy, however....

like I've made clear, whether or not there is a correlation this at least conclusively shows that moderate pipe smoking is not an extreme hazard to health that increases mortality rates.

but there's even a possibility that the stress-relief factor plays a healthy part in one's life. stress kills people slowly... pipe smoking provides an outlet for calmness... it is very possible that this positive psychological impact can be a cause of prolonging people's lives. but then again, it could be a statistical anomaly. one explanation is as good as the other, all this proves is that, that there is this possible explanation.
