Aloysius Posted February 7, 2006 Author Share Posted February 7, 2006 like I've made clear, whether or not there is a correlation this at least conclusively shows that moderate pipe smoking is not an extreme hazard to health that increases mortality rates. but there's even a possibility that the stress-relief factor plays a healthy part in one's life. stress kills people slowly... pipe smoking provides an outlet for calmness... it is very possible that this positive psychological impact can be a cause of prolonging people's lives. but then again, it could be a statistical anomaly. one explanation is as good as the other, all this proves is that, that there is this possible explanation.
