Theologian in Training
Im serious though...its aweful when I feel it. The worst fear I have felt. It frightens me to the point where I just want to die. and Im scared that I avoid sin so I dont go to hell I am so frightened instead of because I want to please the Lord. Thats imperfect contrition, right?
I don't doubt you, at all, and I could only imagine the fear. And the fact that you are striving to avoid sin so strongly is a good thing, and most likely the result of such experiences, but why would you see that as imperfect contrition?
A priest in 4 months. Right now I am a transitional deacon. I don't reveal any personal information because I do not like giving those things out on a public board. Nothing against you, or anyone else, just that I like to keep a low profile with those type of things. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. And, I will pray for you.

The downfall of the internet is that it allows us to forgo all grammatical rules. Besides, what kind of English major would I be if I did not break a few of the rules every now and then and thank you
