Sweet! I just found out that Troy Polamalu (#43, Steelers, you can recognize him by his gorgeous flowing locks of hair) is Catholic, and prays after each play and on the sidelines! Here's another sweet article about him. He sounds like a very humble, kind guy. God bless him and the rest of the Steelers!

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeee passes and it's caught for a touchdown!!!! Buy Sam a drink and get his Dog one too!!"

No, it was an old Seahawk song they had in the mid 80s.

that is correct. every time he is interviewed he has been outspoken about his faith. He does the sign of the cross and says a prayer before and after every play...watch and see when he does at the Super Bowl :sign:

he is definately my favorite strong safety in the NFL....if he were to pair up with Brian Dawkins in a secondary my life would be complete :woot:

I'm rootin for PA......win it for the Bus....and for the chin :lol_roll:

Ash Wednesday

I hate to resurrect one of Al's dumb Steelers threads :hehe: but I've read contradictory reports on whether or not Polamalu is Catholic. The following article says he's devoutly religious and reads the bible constantly but says he has no religious denomination affiliation. Does anyone have more information on Polamalu? Where did Wiki get the scoop on Troy's devotion to Roman Catholicism? Interviews...?

He does sound like an extraordinary person.

But I'm still rooting for Seattle's BALD quarterback. :hehe:
