how often do you go to the gym?

I go to the gym probably about once every two months....not very regularly.

I tend to prefer outside exercise more, but when it's icky it just doesn't happen that much - plus I have to find time to go when it's light outside....

I try to go 3-4 times a week minimum. Lift 3 days, kickboxing workout 1-2., and I'm trying to swim more (at least 2-3 times a week). Most of the time I combine workouts.

Lately I have been hiking every day, because the weather is nice (it was 50 degrees in NJ today!!!)... but I am thinking about joining a gym because it won't be like this all the time.

I was at a gym last week-- I was judging a spelling bee there...

I think there were donuts in the school gym after mass last weekend. I was at that too...

We used to have a family membership at the Y which...well... was great for signing the kids up for swimming lessons and homeschool gym classes.... but I realized that I was doing a lot of sitting in the lobby chatting with the other HSmoms (not that that's a bad thing-- highly needed on stressful days)... but it didn't justify the cost. So, now just HSdad has a membership. He goes a couple of times a week.

Ash Wednesday

I can't afford it right now, and I really miss it. I used to do martial arts 2-3 times a week. :(

But living in the city I have no car and have to walk a lot of places. So that works out all right for now.

I normally life weights five days a week and cardio six days a week. It's very relaxing, especially looking forward to that sauna at the end of the week.
