I've been looking for something of late and can't quite find it;

I am looking for academic proof of cultural influence through allegories.

I know I've read through some of it before. There are 4 or 5 criterias that show influence from one culture ot next in the context of allegories. The first and weakest one are similarities in stories, another is the lesson represented in the allegory itself.

Can anyone help me find this? be very appreciated. I need to bursh up on this stuff.

Just a heads-up, O'Collins is a shifty character. His Fundamental Theology is heterodox in parts, and his Christology is shifty as well.

Poor phatty had to read Roger Haight for his Christology class. :cry2:

I just wish I didn't have to buy different texts every time I take Christology. I love having the library I do, but my checkbook doesn't.
