Resurrexi
If I were to become a priest (which is unlikely because I really want a wife) I would enter either the FSSP ICKSP or SSPX orders. Any priests on here from these orders? any laymen on here who know priests from these orders very well?
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
no sspx priests are on here. I know members of the FSSP can not be on online forums.

Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
sorry for not explaing myself properly the first time: Men in the FSSP seminaries are not allowed onto online forums, or so i have heard. I suppouse if an FSSP wanted to he could be on an online forum. Fish Eaters is a traditional Catholic website and Forum www.fisheaters.com i encourage you to check it out. Marieteresa
Hey sam, I have one more question...Not meaning to highjack the thread but I heard from a friend of mine that I should attend latin mass for the sake of my soul. This person claimed that by attending N.O I am encouraging a protestant spirit. Is this true? I am wondering how is that possible since I was protestant before I converted to the Church and i know protestant spirit. Just wondering...again sorry about the highjack
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
I would attend the Latin Mass. The N.O mass is valid and lict, but the Latin Mass is the based on thousands of years of liturgical Tradition. The Novus Ordo mass was written not to offend Protestants, and to strip the Mass of its Catholic Prayers. I highly Encourage you to attend a traditonal Latin Mass. God Bless, Sam

God Bless, Sam
Umm, its pretty difficult to attend a Latin Mass in my area since there are only 2 parishes that offer it and each one is between 1 to 2 hours a way. Secondly, I don't think Rev. Mother would encourage me going to a Latin Mass...Although I will probably get a chance to ask her about it when I call next week. Resurrexi
the TLM is so much better than the NO. The NO makes me sick!

Marieteresa
hey sam, Well, would there be a point to me attending the Latin mass if Lord willing I enter a Monastery that doesn't have Latin mass? I do think the Latin mass is beautiful though
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
The Latin Mass is superior to the Novus ordo mass. there are many recources on the web about this i suggest you check them out. i saw in your profile that you are Floridia. Here is a list of all the Traditional Latin Mass Locations in Floridia if you do decide to go. God Bless, Sam
Florida (32000-34999) Immaculate Conception Church 121 E. Marieteresa
Dear Sam, Yes i did see one church which is close by but it states that its independent...Does that mean that its not under the Authority of Rome? I still don't think attending a Independent church would be beneficial and I am sure it doesn't count toward Sunday obligation I think this was the closest one Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel 2404 E.
