:lol_sign:

No, the King this country desperately needs to lead it through these troublesome times...Elizabeth II is a great woman but her reign is coming to an end and I do not feel that Charles, Wales can fill her shoes.

This is coming from an American, but I think the (Mountbatten)-Windsor family is doing great, all things considered.

Do they really change our money when the monarchy changes?

That is pretty cool...Would Camilla be Queen and Charles be king when Queen Elizabeth passes?

And could a person convert to Catholicism AFTER being on the throne?

I believe so. HRH the Duchess of Kent married the Duke (a first cousin of Her Majesty) in the early 60's and became Catholic in 1994, dispite this Their Royal Highness remain in line to the throne.

No they don't. A Catholic cannot succeed to the throne. The law which prevents this has not been repealed. It's the only piece of legislation which actively promotes religious discrimination left.....

The Duke gave up his right to the throne when he married the Duchess, as has one of their children who also converted to Catholicism as an adult.

She will indeed become queen under our law when Elizabeth is no longer queen, despite the fact that this is deeply unpopular and they have tried every bit of PR to suggest she won't be queen. There is no provision for her constitutionally to be anything other than queen if Charles becomes king now that they are married.

Of course there is the constutional fudge that was made with the marriage since the Church of England does not officially recognise remarriage of divorced people.......no matter, Charles will be able to change that little rule when he becomes head of the church, drawing on the experience of one of his predecessors no doubt!

is that the standard rebuttal since you have nothing else to say for yourself?

or did i confuse you again and give glory to God by doing so?
