franciscanheart
So how about it kiddos? I think I was first introduced to it at Youth 2000 (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and I absolutely love it. It is a very soothing song I think. It really calms my nerves and usually puts me very quickly into a very respectful and humble place to worship. I play guitar for the youth group at my parish (since we no longer have another guitarist) and this is one song I have purposely not played. There is a Youth 2000 in like April and I think that is the best place to first experience the song. That way the song reminds you of the experiences of that time and not of youth group. I want them to remember touching the garments, not sitting in a circle on bean bags singing with the group. Both are nice, but Youth 2000 is better (IMHO). Anyway... that's where I heard it and obviously I like it a lot. How about you?

Lil Red
i've never heard it, but if they do it at the Youth 2000 retreats, i'll hear it soon then.

tojo
If it's the same one as the one I know (which is likely, I learned it from youth), I love, love, love it.
Laudate_Dominum
I went to a retreat once where they had a dude with long hair and an electric guitar who played his version of that hymn about 50 times before the thing was over and that was pretty lame. I love the real way of singing Adoramus Te Domine, but the Axl Rose version stunk on ice.

I love that song, I first learned it at a retreat (not Youth 2000, but a retreat very much like it), and then at a Youth 2000 retreat we sang it. It's a really peaceful and beautiful song, definitely!
qfnol31
Kinda quick compared to how I normally hear it and a slight variation (more harmony), but here: http://www.carmelita-delmis.org/adoramus.mp3

we're getting luckier every day. we just had a new youth room built for us over a gym at one of the church's school campuses and we have our own private chapel where Mass is said for just the youth. our priest recently bought these chairs that are chaped with back and arm rests and are filled with beans. we also have foot stool things made from the same materials. we also just got a pool table, air hockey, a library (small in the youth groom) and an entertainment center. i dont say this to brag at all either. what we really need is a good orthodox youth minister!! : but back to the song...
