heyyoimjohnny
Seems to me in the picture when the girl was crying, it looked like JPII was givin' the kids his blessin'. She must have gotten hit hard with the Holy Spirit or something. It happened to a little girl I knew when she got confirmed. (Maybe he was confirming them...?) But anyways, these pictures are beautiful!

Era Might
It inspires my faith. It shows the joy of a devout Christian. It also shows the beauty of God's creation. Cow of Shame
Let's take it a step further by using the Socratic Method to analyze Jesus' relationship with Scott Bakula-- Jesus loves Scott Bakula. Jesus cares about Scott Bakula's life. Therefore, Jesus enjoys watching "Quantum Leap".
I don't think Jesus liked watching Enterprise. It made baby Jesus cry.
jezic
some people might find an animal (the koala) inspiring. The original thread was about pictures that inspire you.

Aw yes, let's continue the JPII bashing in here! How dare the Pope be seen around animals??!! - I'll obviously drive people to pagan beast-worship (or maybe worse!) Ooooh, that horrible, horrible John Paul II! His every move seemed to be evil! Guest JeffCR07
to be totally honest, even though I'm not a fuzzy wuzzy animal wuver, lots of people might find a picture of the Pope filled with joy at God's Creation to be inspiring.
Cow of Shame
Aw yes, let's continue the JPII bashing in here!
I find it odd that you jump to the conclusion that they were doing some JP2 bashing when they stated that they found nothing inspiring about seeing a pope hugging a koala bear. I admit I found it rather odd & not very inspiring....unless I was contemplating a visit to the land down under (how exactly does one 'chunder', anyway?...and why do their women glow?).
