Maybe This Will Clear Things Up

pham,

it seems some people may be slightly confused w/ all of these threads that appear to be the same. here's what it going on:

we'll take the sola scriptura threads for example. if u look closely, the topc title is the same, but the topic description is different. this is b/c all the threads are about SS, but there are different threads for different arguments. i did this b/c i wanted to break SS up into its specific arguments.

so, there's a thread for each argument, and if u have an article that goes along w/ that particular argument, then u put it in that thread. for instance, the articles that say there is no sciptural support for SS go in the thread "Reference Section: Sola Scriptura, No Scriptural Support." the articles that talk about SS being against tradition go in the thread "Reference Section: Sola Scriptura, Against Tradition". see what i mean?

i did this for two reasons. one, so that we make sure that the reference section is as comprehensive as possible, that it covers all the bases. secondly, if someone only wants to know why SS goes against scripture, they don't want to have to read thru a big article that includes all the arguments until they find that one that discussses scripture. instead, they want an article that JUST talks about how it goes against scripture. at the same time, if u are trying to get one specific point across to a person you can direct them to an article that only addresses that point, instead of making them read other points that u may have already covered. does that make sense?

i'm sorry if this is annoying, but right now its the best way to do it. i'll probably do this w/ every topic until we cover them all.

i hope this helps. if u have any questions, just let me know.

pax,

phatcatholic
