She dropped us off at the Theater tonight. :yahoo:

I never read the books though.

I want to see POTC2 and Cars That looks funny.

But was anyone else like the only person in the theater who laughed at some parts?

and I found out tonight that I can't see the movie when it's a darker picture. My eyes go all fuzzy and won't focus....

Dust's Sister

Having Fun With Johnsonville brat and Jane was hilarious! I love Jim Carrey, I recommend y'all to go see it.

The Chronicles of Narnia movie rocked my world!

I CAN'T WAIT for Pirates of the Carribean two!

I want to see The Ringer, the new robin williams movie, and new adam sandler movie, those look like they're gonna be funny!

I have to say the movies now are a bit better.

I hope to see either Syriana or Munich tonight, hopefully.

I really have a problem with modern movies though. There is a select few of "good" movies. Most now are sequels (ahem Cheap by the Dozen 2), or remakes (ahem King Kong)...

I long for originality.

the movies i want to see right now: syriana. munich, the chronicals of narnia, pirates of carabiean 2, X3, V for vendentte [or wut ever its call], spider-man 3 [2007 <_< ] , barmyard, the ringer and fun with Johnsonville brat and jane. thats about it. i just watched the origanal king kong and the new one looks alright, but not worth wasting $5 on. there was never any relationship between fay and kong. she was always, and will always be scarded of the gianourmus monkey. so i dont like that they did that. o well, hopfully peter jackson will just hurry up and make the hobbit.

Munich might be better. Syriana's nice as the climate and the novellikeness of it. However, its really hard to follow the story and many questions are left unanswered. One thing I found kinda funny was how they portrayed Americans as bad guys. Also another funny thing is how they went into the only nasty part of lebanon (the hezbollah slums) and then cut to a scene where Matt Damon's like "Yeah, Lebanon... they say its the Paris of the Middle East". Also, the random Afghani (I'm pretty sure they were afghani) slaved extremists that added nothing to the story.... unless i missed something

original movies arent necessarily a dying breed... you just have to know where to look for them.

ive seen two excellent movies in the past year that werent in main stream theaters. art house films are my fav. "the house of d" and "crash" were both shown in select theaters around here and im in dallas. granted dallas is not los angeles or new york which play just about every movie, it is a big city with lots of theaters.
