Explain exactly how a kid is suppose to "push" the train through the mountain. My kid doesn't have 5 ft long arms... but he does have a cool remote controller for his train that makes authentic train sounds, and let's him start and stop his train wherever he wants.

Let's end this futile debate. Just admit that GeoTrax ROCKS!!!

If you could put together this, would you have extra time on your hands? I THINK NOT!

Maybe not while I was actually putting it together...man that's huge.

Regardless, I'm not too fond of big bulky plastic toys...I prefer metal or wood...much more classic.

Yes, that's the most fun part about it! The cool little remote!

Why do you need to hear it from her? Are you just trying to get us to concur so that you can justify your ridiculous waste of money on what is obviously an inferior product?

Well, being a fan of classic toys myself is why I like the GeoTrax. It's basically a small kid version of a traditional classic train set. Just like a classic train set, you can add on tracks, buildings, get new trains, etc... and it works just like a regular trian set, unlike the Thomas train. The train actually interacts with the buildings! For example, if you pull up to a lumber building, the train will stop, and the lumber mill will start to load wood onto the train. Then, with a flip of a lever the train continues on! It's totally sweet.

Ha. You sir, know nothing about toddler aged train sets! The GeoTrax is obviously a superior product compared to the Thomas train, and at 1/2 the price. I would venture to say that the real waste of money is the Thomas train.

MORE PROOF!!!

Real reviews from real Amazon.com customers. Note the comparison to the inferior wooden Thomas train...

"This train system wasn't my first choice - I wanted wood, and we have that, but THIS is the the ones the boys pull out to play with. Since the time the oldest was 2 1/2 (He's 3 1/2 now) and the younger was just under a year (he'll be 2 in a couple of weeks), they have loved to play with this train set. It's durable hard plastic, the links snap together fairly easily for 2 and up, and they don't come apart when our 9 month old daughter crawls over to get the other side." - Bryan, Texas

"My two boys absolutely love this toy. They received it for a christmas present. I didn't think they would enjoy it as much because they have alot of the wooden Thomas the Train stuff. They have played with this non-stop. I wish I would have known they would love this more than Thomas, I could have saved a fortune!!! This is a definate recommend for any child of any age!!" - Sarah Ann, WV

"THIS IS A MUST-HAVE TOY!! I purchased the GeoTrax Railway System for my son when he was 2. He is now almost 4 and he and his 2 yr-old sister play with their GeoTrax train EVERY SINGLE DAY! They love to put the track together in different ways and use the remotes to run the trains. The entire system is incredibly durable. This has been the best investment in a toy I've ever made! We have certainly gotten our money's worth!! (Our poor expensive Thomas train gets negelected next to our GeoTrax!) I recommended GeoTrax to several friends and co-workers and every one of them has been thrilled with it. A MUST-HAVE for young boys AND girls!!" - Erin T. Brown, NC
