GeoTrax

My son got the working town railway set from Santa. We love it. I think we'll be getting a lot more add-ons. Probably the best toy ever invented in the history of the world.

Let's discuss everything GeoTrax.

There's no comparison.

GeoTrax rocks. The Thomas train set looks like the pieces don't stay together as good, and it doesn't look like the trains are remote controlled like GeoTrax. Also, the GeoTrax trains interact with the buildings and stuff--everything moves and is controlled with the remote control and levers. It's AWESOME!!!

I can assure you the pieces fit well together and as long as you dont have a kid taking them out and throwing them everything works fine. Thomas is not run by a remote control but by human hands. I'd have to say Thomas is a bit more complicated, way more expensive (I'm going out on a limb here), and not nearly as cool as GeoTrax, that is, if you like the remote control v. the older classic stuff.
