Wow, I'm quite honored to be included on the list.

Don't know that I can vote in the poll though ... there are so many fabulous choices!!

I'd vote for Jennie, but I'm not sure she'd consider herself "classy"...are "classy dame" and "redneck woman" reconcilable?

depends on where you are from; south or midwest I'd say yes. Northeast, Northwest, Southwest, East, or West probably not.

I don't know Jennie, but to answer your question, no.
No lady has more class than a Southern Belle, but that is not the same thing as "redneck woman."
You sir, are obviously a clueless Yankee.

But "classy dame" definitely ain't a Southern expression - more hardboiled New York/New Jersey, or perhaps Chicago.

(For the confused, this was inspired by an earlier thread about whether the term "classy dame" was offensive.)

I maintain that she is a Southern Belle, but she classifies herself as a "redneck woman"...

...and I ain't a Yankee. :annoyed:

"Classy Dame" sounds very Chicago-ish to me.

I require pictures for confirmation of classy dameness, so Photosynthesis got my vote. :photo:

Oops! Actually, you were supposed to be on the list! (I somehow forgot.)

This isn't a beauty contest. Classy dameness is not determined by physical characteristics, and is not the same as being a "cute chick."
Classy dames show a certain class, style, maturity, wit, and intelligence.
Classy dameness is a quality which can not be measured physically, but which can always be observed.

I am so classy.

I put the "a$$" in class  ;)

Or maybe not.

Well that's why I didn't make the list!!

Hey, I'm from Chicago; I understand the concept. Looks aren't the issue, but dressing well matters.

And thanks for meaning to include me. :) Just as well, though. I'm too much of a :nerd:.
