Ziggamafu
You guys are so awesome Think about what a wonderful testimony this is to Catholic Truth and the Spirit in the Church! We can point to a solid Christian - and his alligence to Catholicism - in EVERY generation for the past 2,000 years!!! Troublesome for Protestants who say the Church was dead for hundreds of years! Laudate_Dominum
I'll do a bit of sloppy name dropping to help out with the periods that aren't covered yet. Later I'll double check, I doubt I have the names matched with the periods 100%, but pretty close probably. I can also drop some names of texts for key figures. You won't find texts for all of these people, especially in English translation, but you will for a great many of them. Anyway, I hope this helps for now. Oh, and some names may be misspelled. 750-800 Possibly St. John Damascene, the Venerable Bede and St. Boniface Paul the Deacon St. Alcuin Benedict of Aniane Einhard Rabanus Maurus Notker of St Gall St. Theodulf St. Ansgar St. Paulinus St. Beatus 850-900 Sts. Cyril and Methodius Erigena Photius St. Paschasius Radbertus 900-950 St. Odo of Cluny St. Berno of Cluny St. Clement of Ohrid St Wenceslaus 950-1000 St. Nilus the younger St. Dustan of Canterbury St. Bruno Abbot Odilo 1000-1050 St. Peter Damian (doctor of the Church) Pope St. Gregory VII St. Romuald St. Stephen of Hungary Fulbert of Chartres 1300-1350 Blessed Angela of Foligno Jacopone da Todi Dante Possibly St. Gertrude the Great and/or Jean Gerson Meister Eckhart 1400-1450 St. Colette St. Bernardine of Siena St. John of Capistrano Nicholas Albergati Blessed John Dominic St. Antonius of Florence Fra Angelico Possibly Raymond of Capua and/or Catherine of Genoa

Laudate_Dominum
As promised, I've tried to provide a decent text or two for each of the 50 year periods I claimed above. Each period ought to have at least one text that is actually available in English (and linked . This list only scratches the surface and I know I have forgotten many important people and texts.. Anyhow, I got tired of working on it so this is what I've got. I hope it helps.
