phatcatholic
phatpham, i've been workin on this first entry into our new reference section for a while now, and i think i'm finally done. i may add more to it later, but this should be the gist of it. to check it out, see the pinned topic at the top of the board. what do you guys think? i'm curious to know.... if you have any suggestions to make it better, just let me know here. also, if you have an article or another resource that you would like to add to this entry, just find the appropriate thread (there should be one for all 8 subheadings) or make a new thread. our next entry to the reference section will be Sacred Tradition. i will start making specific threads for this entry shortly. to help me out, if u decide to make a thread, please post it w/ the following Topic Title and Topic Description: Topic Title: Reference Section: Sacred Tradition Topic Description: (what ever specific argument for Tradition that you choose) remember, what makes this new reference section so great is that it breaks up each topic into specific arguments and has articles devoted to each argument. so, if u have an article that does not specifically address one argument--and instead briefly mentions all the arguments--then just put "Comprehensive" for the Topic Description. i think its cool this way, but we'll see how it works. any questions, just let me know. your soldier for Christ, phatcatholic
CatholicAndFanatical
sounds fair, but I think only having a certain topic to be able to post on is a slow way to go with it. Most of the people in here are actively defending and need resources now. Why not let people post what they have so they can share the wealth. As long as they meet some type of standards as they post it wont get all clogged. if someone has Documents on the Eucharist, or Confessions why not let them go ahead and put them up that way the library gets filled quicker with useful information. And if there is going to be a standard for one post it should be universal for all posts (i.e multiple threads on one subject but different references). Just me cent and a half :D CatholicAndFanatical
