I don't want to go to work today

I should start getting ready in about 10 minutes, but I just don't feel like it. I have nothing pressing to get done today, and would really rather just stay in my robe sitting on my purple chair and reading.

We're only going to be there for 3 or 4 hours anyway. And it's not like anything is going to get done.

I wish I could ... but I try to reserve mental health days for when I really need them. Which does happen from time to time.

I know what you mean. In fact I am at work right now! I guess being at work is good today because we are going to crack open the beer a noon! Some guys already have the Baileys going with their morning Coffee HA

Hmmm, now there's a thought. I forgot that I just got a flask from a friend for Christmas ... I could just take that with me, and then work would suddenly become a lot more fun ...

Of course, I could also get fired :ninja:

Oh, I've done that before. Drinking doesn't appreciably change my writing style. It just makes me happier and sleepier.

I just turned on the heater so the temp in the bathroom will get above 45 so I can take a shower.

OK, I'm here.

And I'm glad I came in for three reasons:
1) I'm now up and dressed and showered, which means I won't waste the entire day sitting in my chair.

2) My co-worker finally brought in his Roger Daltry days photo from when he had hair halfway down his back. They're AWESOME.

3) Someone brought in Long's Donuts, which is a much, much better breakfast than the stale biscotti I had at home.
