Flanagan got into trouble again...

Thy Geekdom Come

My dad was going to take the dog out to go pee this morning and he put the special collar on the dog but forgot to connect the leash. Then he opened the front door and the dog went for it all alone. So I was standing there watching out the door while my dad was yelling about it...and I go, "look! He's across the street!" And sure enough, there he was peeing in the neighbor's bushes.

So he tricked Flanagan into coming back home by going out the garage and opening the car door and going, "let's go for a ride, Flanny!"

Dumb dog fell for it. He ran across and jumped in the car and started cowaring when my dad approached him with the leash. So then dad attached the leash and took him out of the car and started to go on a walk with him.

Not more than 5 seconds later, dad was chasing after him again, because now the dog was dragging the leash behind him...dad didn't have a grip on it!

My dog -- Eddie the chihuahua -- loves car rides, too. All you have to say is, "Eddie go car-car!" and he goes nuts.

We say "walky" and the dogs ears perk up and he gets excited.

It's fun to talk to him about "walkie talkies" and ask him if he wants to go to "Milwaukee"...hehehe...

You'd think he'd get excited at hearing "walkabouts", you know being an Irish Setter and all...
