mmmm tacos, so very tasty and good for you,....
besides the people who stock the shelves dont get profit sharing, they get paid the same whether it sells or not.
besides where the hell do they get off selling a cd with only 35 minutes of music on it for 20 $ ???? jerks, they deserve some loss.
speaking from experience of buying a (not even new) AC/DC live Cd for 24.99$ before tax, once

Buying an AC/DC CD of any kind, new or not, for any amount of money is a mistake in my opinion. Ha ha ha...

You're the one who choses to spend the money.

You don't have a right to steal simply because you don't think what's being charged is a fair price.

I don't get it either. people used to record their favorite radio stations with their cassette tapes all the time in hope they get a good amount of songs on it. nobody cared. I even remember someone calling up a radio station and requesting a song, and admitting she was going to record it.. DJ played it, no problem. all of the sudden the internet comes around and the rules change?

all of the sudden the internet comes and the effects of breaking the rules become large enough that people start to care

That, and, with the Internet enforcement is actually possible. You can trace who's downloading what and where. If all you're doing is taping something off TV or the radio, it's impossible to track.
