I had hiccups for a really long time. When i got my gallbladder taken out at 19, they stopped shortly after. My sister got chronic hiccups, and I joked that it was probably her gallbladder. A few month later, she had her gallbladder taken out because hers went bad, too. She still hiccups and they are the weirdest, loudest things I have ever heard! She says it's a conversation piece.
