Anything but Delaware! (scary music from Monty Python whenever they say the word "shrubbery") no, just kidding, I love Delaware, just not when I get stuck there for 9 hours out of the day on a school trip >:(

EDIT; not trying to insult Delaware, trying to say, that I'll probably end up thinking about that rest stop I stayed at for HOURS while I was on my way to Walt Disney World

Was it on I-95 where the highway parts away, and there is a major rest stop and truckstop inbetween the roads, with the very tall stadium-like flood lights?

Photo, Andrea, are you both familar with Concord Pike (aka, route 202) in the northern suburbs of Wilmington? I grew up on Naamans road (which intersects with 202, before 202 enters PA).

Yeah, i think that was it. One of the coach buses broke down and we had to stay at a rest stop for about 9 hours until another one could come Not entirely sure though.

There is only one rest stop on I-95 in Delaware that is like that, if it was inbetween the parted highway, that was it.

Sorry to hear your unfortunate experience.

yup. i went to school in West Chester, PA. It would only take us like 20 minutes down 202 to get to Delaware and shop. That is also the way I went home for a while sophomore year. 202 to Naamans Road, then I caught 95 North to go over the Commodore Barry into NJ.

I lived on the very corner of Brandywood, where Naamans Rd and Brandywood Dr intersect. Lived in the 1-story home with the brown roof. :D:

Church of the Holy Child (Catholic Church) was right behind our backyard.
