Yeah...that is why I said it presupposes a belief in God.

Yeah, without God, there is really no solid grounding for human beings (or any other creatures, for that matter) to have any intrinsic worth or right to life. It all becomes arbitrary, as defined by government, courts, or some changable democratic consenses.

Without God, we're all just blobs of protoplasm living and breeding on a speck of dust in space, with no more worth or significance than pond scum.
