Is that using your mod powers for good?!?! You went through and edited a typo out of everyone's posts!!!!

:P:

Ahem. And by the by, I hate caves. Not just Mammoth Cave, but any cave. It stems from a horrible caving experience I had on a high school youth group trip. Our leader got lost in the southern Indiana cave, and what was to have been a 2-hour excursion ended up being 7 hours with no food or water. Those just aren't good memories.

If I do that, then the kids will have gummy bears for dinner (again).

wow... okay then.

My last caving experience... last summer... We are deep into the depths of Mystery Cave. My son turns to me and says, "Mom, I have to go to the bathroom" (those who read my threads know that this is a recurring theme with my son)... And of course we'd been given the "don't touch the cave walls" lecture... Okay... So, I'm wearing a jacket (thank goodness) and I carry a LOT of stuff in my pockets. BUt seeing as I didn't have a pop bottle (HSson's substitute toilet of choice), I had to make due with... A DIAPER!... He looks at me like this :ohno: and told him he didn't have to wear it, just pee into it, which he did with my help.

Thankfully, I'll never have an experience like that with my children. Largely because we'll never be together in a cave.

The last time I tried to go spelunking (2 years ago-ish?) I totally freaked out. I think I'm officially cave-o-phobic.

God's Errand Girl

Any state whose general population is familiar with and regularly uses the term "y'all" is DEFINITELY southern.

I am five minutes from the Kentucky border in Southwestern Indiana, and I rarely hear "y'all" spewed out of my fellow Hoosiers, but as soon as I cross the border, it is a commonly used term.

But did you know that y'all is the singular? All y'all is the plural.

God's Errand Girl

Yes, evidently, but if we break it down, it is grammatically incorrect.

y'all= you all ('All' is representing a collective number of people)

So, could you call that a double pronoun then?
