inDEED
Get it blessed. Wear it. Be happy.
Dave
Go to your priest to get invested in the brown scapular. Also, please know that just because it has St. Michael on it doesn't make it a different kind of scapular than the Our Lady of Mount Carmel brown scapular. It's still the Our Lady of Mount Carmel brown scapular; it just has St. Michael on it.
Brother Adam
Getting it blessed apparently is incorrect, you need to be enrolled in order to receive the graces from it (We have carmelite nuns here who knew?). And also, with the St. Michael one it is different in a way (see New Advent), you also need to pray the prayer of St. Michael the Archangel. Lot of help the lot of you are : Apparently it is a popular, yet widely misused devotion...

jezic
with Saint Michael on it? I have never seen one of those. I have only seen (and been enrolled in) a brown scapular with pictures of Jesus and Mary or their hearts, or an image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Aloysius
I'm pretty sure the word is "investured" people might think we're running sort of saint-stock market if we're investing ourselves in scapulars
