Driving around in tight circles when its slippery

Recommended Posts

A recent nasty ice and snowstorm got me thinking about a crazy activity that many do. A friend of mine did this after snowfall in his highschool parking lot, and got ticketed by the police!

There are several names that I know of calling the activity of driving around in tight circles on a slippery surface, usually ice.

Cutting cookies
Doing donuts
Whipping shitties

The one that I use is the last one, whipping shitties. I looked it up online and found an interesting Harvard study. Others have commented in blogs that whipping shitties is the funniest phrase they've ever heard. Is it really that funny? or am I just a crazy northern midwesterner?

Is the censoring supposed to work? Ok, I see, if you remove "ties" from shitties it'll turn to another word. Why wouldn't the fiddler make it shinobities?
