Winchester
There will be no illegal burning. Any stakes to be used must have proper safety precautions. Freaky, Ya copped out, and you've basically said that the history of the Bible means diddly. You are going to follow your own private interpretation, beaver dam, the torpedos. Allowing those taunting you to convince you to promote your admitted preconcieved notion is just another copout.
[jas]
How about, we go by what the Word of God says, not a man-made addition to it.
Don John of Austria
"How about, we go by what the Word of God says, not a man-made addition to it. " You are aware that the Bible didn't just fall out of the sky prewritten and Bound right. Men wrote it and then a bunch of other men decided what was going to go into it and tossed out more books than they put in.
[jas]
Men wrote it Inspired by the H.S. a bunch of other men decided what was going to go into it Based on a number of factors including historical reliability, so we could be sure what we were reading is definately what was written x hundred of years ago by those men who were inspired. Your point?

foundsheep
,Dec 11 2003, 10:40 PM] But do you deny that it's God's Word? Word=truth and yes I do accept it but do you? I accept it as His church has brought it to me. You dont except his "word" if you dont accept his body and blood as he has inspired John( a true witness) to write about. Don John of Austria
NO God didn't write the Bible He inspired it. There is a huge differance.
[jas]
You dont except his "word" if you dont accept his body and blood as he has inspired John( a true witness) to write about. We've discussed this before, numerous times, and it all comes down to how you interpret John 6. I'm willing to agree to disagree on interpretation on that one. Please drop it. Don John of Austria
More than that it was only through the Authority of Catholic Church( which predated it by centuries) that it was ever assembled yet, you say lets use the Word of God and not the other things which that Authority established. It is only by the Authority of Catholic Bishopps that you claim it to be inspired as opposed to say the Koran.
