N/A Gone
i mean, we should be doin this anyway
phatcatholic
the point? to clear up the errors that many non-Catholics have about Catholicism and to give Catholics some experience defending their faith in an environment that is the most conducive to learning. N/A Gone
I dont mean the point of doing it..as I said we all should be doing this and I do it on a large basketball site...i mean whats the point of the team..I guess Im an apologetics vigilanty actually, what I do is explain catholic doctrine in language that a protestant can understand, I work towards ecumenism in that. As well as defend against monster misconceptions
The Joey-O
Yes. Speaking the language is essential in any form of dialogue. Otherwise, you just get peeved with the person and speak at them.

phatcatholic
well, the point of having teams is so that the beginners, or amateur apologists will have more experienced apologists to back them up. also, when ur in a team you don't feel as overwhelmed. by having multiple teams, we can approach many different protestant forums at once. by having team leaders i can better insure that each team that is crusading is maintaining charity. the team leader is also the first person you go to w/ any questions u may have and he is the one who reports to me the progress of the crusade and any problems he is having with individual team members.
