I've contacted PhatCatholic twice about it as instructed, but i have yet to recieve an answer. Would it be taboo to ask somebody to explain it to me?

Thanks,
In Christ :)

Yes, this is one site that has been visited: www.christianguitar.org/forums. I was already a Catholic trying to explain my Faith to others, but because of the Crusaders I found out about Phatmass. (I was the mod of the Roman Catholic forum under "Denominations"- crazy thing is, they don't realize Catholicism is NOT a denomination!!)

Fiat Voluntas Tua was one of the crusaders :)

doh! :pinch: sorry bro

the FBC is an organized effort by phatmass to explain and defend the faith on protestant forums. there are five groups right now. each one has a group leader that is in charge of the strategic approach of the group, for answer questions from his group members, and for maintaining charity. each group also has a prayer warrior that prays unceasingly for the group to which he is assigned. we also have floaters who go from forum to forum and help out wherever they are needed. finally, we have a "chapel" in the FBC board where prayer warriors and group members can post prayers for their group.

right now the FBC is rather stagnant. people have gotten busy and or dropped out, and i haven't had the time to revive fervor for this endeavor. however, i plan on starting fresh at the start of the new year, recruiting new members, assigning new forums, and establishing which members are still committed to the task.

the FBC is an excellent experience for anyone who wants practice defending the faith. for one, you're not alone. there is always someone there to help you. and of course, you will learn more about your faith in the process. this should also aid your prayer life, since prayer is so essential to what we are doing.

if anyone is interested, just post in this thread and i will get back to you when the time is right.

pax christi,
phatcatholic

I'd be interested. I don't consider myself a scholar or anything of that sort, but I am quite able to hold my own in the heat of "battle" :) But yeah, whatever i can do to helkp, just give me a ring-a-roo.
