jiyoung
My choir is doing "O Gloriosa Domina" by Giovanni Croce. Beautiful arrangement. The song basically reflects on Mary's identity as Queen of Heaven and Mother of God, and the irony in the fact that she is nursing her own Creator. That's sacrallige. Garage sales are usually cheaper. Check out the bargin bins in record stores and record departments. Buy alot of varied stuff and burn cd's of your favorites. Classical music is a great reason for an iPod, since there are so many different emotions expressed in Classical. I have no favorites, it depends on my mood, though I hate the cd's that have "nature" sounds with music. The nature sounds either over power, or are too soft, or sound like electric static. Just plain ewwwwww.

Sarah_JC
I adore Baroque, I delight in Romantic... but I can't say I'm a huge classical music person. I enjoy Mozart, but the rest is lost on me. Perhaps playing Ode to Joy in a first year violin recital of 200 kids (at once!) has made me bitter.
