rckllnknny Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 (edited) i'm serious. this site has changed soo much. theres soo much conflict and confusion. everyone is divided on opinions and hateful towards each other. even catholic turning on catholics and catholics against protestants. why in a complete belief system there can be disagreements? dont we all believe in the same things and respect each others opinions. half of this is disagreements on opinions. opinions that cant be backed up by KNOWLEDGE through scripture. yet eveyone preaches scripture like a parable is referance to the relativity. half of everyones disagreements cant be judged by scripture. we should love one another. i hate this site. i shouldnt get mad evey time i come here. does anyone have anything "inspiring" or been touched by heart felt emotions? Glory of God is upon us. that is the gift he gave me to share. not being seduced by the passion of hate in war. granted he gave me a sword in the the great spiritual battle. but it was made in love. thus the victory. true?? I regret to be the one to inform you that there is no community on the face of the earth that is free from all conflict, division, and immature squabble. you know what they say... "the moment you find the perfect church, it won't be perfect anymore because you are in it now." We are all sinners, we all rely on God's mercy and forgiveness. I think most people on this board are striving for holiness and the knowledge of the true Catholic faith. We do a real disservice to God if we're always trying to not offend anyone and not tell anyone they're ever wrong. We refuse to stoop to being politically correct. Most of the regular phatmassers may disagree on issues, but I've yet to see an uncharitable post go uncriticized or unmoderated. I'm curious as to which posts you're referring to. rckllnknny Posted November 22, 2005 Author Share Posted November 22, 2005 (edited) im not referring to any posts. and i have two kids. should i let them argue or teach them how to hug each other? should i let them argue and say oh well "..it happens!" ..or maybe even get in the middle of the arguments im just saying..for example..i start a post with the purpose of admitting ive been hateful and that i wish wed all find ways to get along better and rejoice in the joy of the Lord... and everyones still arguing with me. thats ridiculous! im just trying to help us get along better as a PHAMILY. ..like it used to be here.
