Hey. The last time I posted on this forum I was a High Church Anglican. Now, with more and more homosexuals and women being accepted to the Anglican priesthood I've decided to convert to the Catholic Church. Now I've finally realized that the Apostolic Succession that Anglicans claim to have is not valid (they lost it in the Reformation!) I'd love to meet new ppl cause I don't know many Catholics my age who know they're faith well. I need advice on becoming a good Catholic and keeping my Catholic faith. Email adresses or screennames would be much appreciated!

P.S. I met this really awesome person on this forum named Chris (crispy) his sn is TKDLime88. We became really good friends online over the summer and he's one of the people that influenced me in converting. I know he went to World Youth Day and when he came back that was the last time I talked to him. If anyone has his email or knows whats he's up to tell me!

Phil, are your parents becoming Catholic? Your profile says you're 15 years old, and I was wondering what your parents think about your becoming Catholic....

Well I live with my mom and she's ok with it. She's Protestant but she's being very supportive. And she doesn't have a one sided Protestant view like most Protestants have. She's actually really open to it and I'm glad about that. The only thing she's mad about is waiting so long to receive Communion. In her words it was "rediculous" but I don't think she quite understand the Catholic perspective on this and why you have to wait so long for such a great gift.

Well, I'm glad yuo have so much support. It's very hard as a teenager to practice a religion your parents disapprove of, I know from experience.
