Carrie
You'd think that living where I do, I would have seen Rent on Broadway. I haven't. Shame on me.

Carrie
It's hard to be a tourist in your own town.
It's true. I avoid touristy areas as much as possible. Tourists are great but sometimes the mobs are just plain aggravating when you are trying to get somewhere in a hurry (like most other nyers, I'm in a perpetual hurry). There have been times when I've said "hon, you can look at the pretty building without blocking the middle of the sidewalk, thanks." As Didacus says "purgatory, purgatory." Thinking about it, it really isn't the tourists. I just don't like crowds. Back to HP, I've heard from friends that its a little scarier than they expected. They saw some younger children that were really scared.

benedictaj
I will definitely see Harry, but am more interested in Narnia, Pride and Predjudice, Zathura, Rent, and the movie about geishas. For Christmas this year I am asking for movie passes, and books.
I've seen the new Pride and Prejudice! lol, it came out a few weeks ago. I thought it was ok. Nowhere near as good as the BBC version I love the BBC version (yup, all six hours of it! ) The setting was good, but there was no subtlety. I love Jane Austens subtlety, and her irony....well, there isn't too much of it in the movie.... Narnia comes out on my bday!!!!!!!! I'll see it then too :
