Same here, my family wants to know what i want, I honestly dont want much this yr. All i want is some money, to help me out with work cloths and such or to get them to pay for a plane ticket to go visit the Lockport Dominicans!!!!! cmotherofpirl
Unless there is something someone really needs, give them the gift of time. Very few of us need more objects, all of us need more time with the people who are important to us.

I've been thinking about like, instead of giving some random gift that they might not use, just planning something fun and memorable to do with that person. I think that would mean more than giving them a CD or something...

For example, babysit for harried parents, or rake leaves, or shovel snow, or cook a meal.

Proud2BCatholic139
I normally make stuff, or I get things that I know fit their hobby. I have a good memory, I normally get things that have to do with inside jokes. My mom likes Cardinals, so I get her cardinal stuff. She has been working hard, I will be buying her a day at the spa. My dad likes fishing, I get him fishing stuff. My brother is into music, I look for a good CD My sister, well, she is weird. My friends, I mostly make them stuff. It is fun.
