Are they somehow hoping to further the gay cause and acceptance of homosexuality? It shouldn't even matter, since they're called to live celibate lives as a priest or religious brother/sister. You don't see priests flaunting their heterosexuality, since it doesn't really matter as a priest. I bet the other Bishops tricked him into this so they can clean up 6 months later. Don't the FBI call this running a sting operation? Isn't there some woman from the FBI advising the Catholic Church?
