First Confession

The only thing that annoys me is when you come to find out that older ladies in the Church get in line every week 45 minutes early and then spend a half hour each complaining about this and that thing to the priest because he's smart enough to avoid them the rest of the week. Then you have to wait FOREVER to have your turn in confession which takes no more than 5 minutes. Bleh.

Oh boy, I'm not the only one I guess. I wanted to go to confession this weekend, but in an hour only 4 people go through. I had to go, as I had other plans and Mass was going to start anyways. I felt kind of uncharitable though. Who knows how long they've been without confession? If it takes 20+ minutes for them to make a good confession, I think its great, but I want to have a chance to confess too.

Next week, I'll be in line an hour early.

How do you know what they're confessing? Maybe they have a very active sin life...

There's a bunch of older people who confess where I go, but they don't take that long.

Hmm, we don't seem to have that problem. I'll go, and there will be 6 people ahead of me in line, and I'll barely have time to say a few prayers before it's my turn.
