cmotherofpirl
When I was little I read all the Hardy Boys, Tom Swift, the Black Stallion, and Nancy Drew books. Then I discovered X-men comic books, and some which were featuring all the classic books [Huckleberry Finn etc] That was cool, so then I read all the classic in their unabridged form. In 6-7-8 grade I was the school librarian so I read all the National Geographic magazines up to that date. Jabberwocky
I loved a book called Hip Cat. It was about a beatnik saxophone-playing jazz musician cat. "He was a hip cat, a hep cat, a cool cat. A bad mad rad cat...Oobie Do John the sax-man scat-man. The long sleek cat man." or something along those lines.
